This was a well-attended and enjoyable event, sponsored by my insurance company Modern Woodmen of America Fraternal Financial. I took advantage of the
'Do-Good Grant' that's offered to its members to host the event. All supplies- plants, pots, soil, shovels, and gloves were purchased using a Visa gift card from Modern Woodmen.
After connecting with nature, soil and plant, we sat down and had lunch that was provided by Women Embracing Transition, Inc.
